Virginia War Memorial curator Jesse Smith, L, and Jerry Landrum display a flag made of bedsheets by prisoners in the notorious POW Omori Japan labor camp in WWII. Landrum's father was a prisoner in the camp and was holding the flag in an iconic photo taken when the camp was liberated.
