A weekly and sometimes bi-weekly rundown of stuff that makes American politics so crazy.

Looks like we’ve got Eric Holder 2.0 as our next attorney general – and no, I don’t care what Senator Orin Hatch (R- UT) says. Testifying in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, nominee Loretta Lynch was asked by Senator Jeff Sessions if illegal aliens have the same right to work as American citizens.

This was Lynch’s response: “Senator, I believe the right and the obligation to work is one that is shared by everyone in this country, regardless of how they came here.”

BUZZ. Wrong answer Ms. Lynch.

It is true that the clowns in DC have willfully ignored existing immigration laws for decades. But their irresponsible behavior has only provided illegal border crossers the OPPORTUNITY to work and not the RIGHT to work.

And America strongly agrees.

National Review headline yesterday: “Poll: Large Majority of Americans Oppose Obama’s Immigration Actions” 58% to 36% to be exact. It’s really quite simple Ms. Lynch, our nation deserves INDEPENDENT attorney generals who will do one thing: ENFORCE THE LAW.

National Security Advisor Susan Rice said, “He served the United States with honor and distinction.”

Chris Kyle? Surely you jest … this is the Zerobama administration.

No Rice was praising Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl who deserted his post with such “honor and distinction” O swapped five top Taliban commanders so that Bergdahl could go free.

Platoon mates contend that Bergdahl’s disappearance resulted directly or indirectly in the deaths of several U.S. soldiers. Now NBC confirms what Fox reported earlier that the U.S. Army is charging Bergdahl with desertion though Pentagon officials insist that no decision has been made. So what’s the hold up? It’s been eight months since O was standing proudly with Bergdahl’s hippy dippy parents in front of the White House.

Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer told Bill O’Reilly last night that he believes the WH is trying to “suppress” this development and “wants this to go away.”

This matter better not just “go away” since the truth about Bergdahl is far more important than our vain leader’s potential embarrassment.

Politico reported on Monday that campaign advisors are now 100% certain that Hillary’s running.

This follows this WA Post headline five days ago: “Hillary Clinton has double-digit leads over potential GOP presidential rivals, poll shows”

So it’s all over right? Dems think so. But before we all jump off a bridge, another poll shows Hillary’s already starting to tank. In December of 2006, Hillary was up 22% over Zeroboy. That was before Hillary campaigned and opened her mouth. Low-info women will vote for Hillary based on her gender alone and (as with O) a fawning media will be her cheerleaders.

But Clinton flip-flops, is without vision and is no spring chicken. Oh, and she’s also corrupt. If the GOP nominates another squishy moderate then Hillary’s chances are good. But if the nominee is a fearless conservative reformer then Clinton’s toast. The lib media insists that someone like that is unelectable.

Which is exactly what they said about Ronald Reagan.

Michael Moore tweeted this past weekend: “We were taught snipers were cowards.”

Seth Rogen compared “American Sniper” to a Nazi propaganda film. HBO’s Bill Maher said Chris Kyle was a “psychopath patriot.”

Then there’s Rolling Stone, that lib paragon of virtue that loves making up stories about brutal rapes. The magazine’s Matt Taibbi wrote that “American Sniper” was “almost too dumb to criticize” and that Chris Kyle was “kind of a di*k.”

These troglodytes are not worthy of a response, but let’s respond anyway in language they understand. To Moore, these box office totals each after 5 weeks: a) Selma $39M b) American Sniper $200M.

To Rogen, the latest weekend box office: a) American Sniper $64.4M b) The next SIX films combined $59.3M. To Maher, the avg. take per screening this weekend: a) American Sniper $17,372 b) The Johnny Depp flick just released $1,558. And to Taibbi, the number of Oscar nominations: a) Selma 2 b) American Sniper 6.

Chris Kyle was a hero in life. He’s now a hero in death by making Hollywood libs soil their pampers!

Zerobama last September: “This strategy of taking out terrorists who threaten us, while supporting partners on the front lines, is one that we have successfully pursued in Yemen and Somalia for years.”

NY Times headline a week ago today: “U.S. Fears Chaos as Government of Yemen Falls”

Yemen is a center for al-Qaeda recruitment and training. So what’s Zero doing?

Cringeworthy “interviews” like his one with GloZell, a youtube sensation who wears green lipstick.

Then there’s this from the Washington Times Wednesday: “Sen. Bob Menendez, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, condemned President Obama’s State of the Union talking points on Iran, characterizing them as coming ‘straight out of Tehran.’” This from the ranking DEMOCRAT.

Who fears O anymore? Iran? Al-Qaeda? ISIS? Putin? China? And who respects O anymore? England? France? Germany? Israel?

National security is the PRIMARY responsibility of any U.S. president. Zerobama is not a president but a dangerous man-child incapable of meeting that responsibility.
