Crash Course on Politics

This latest example of college insanity comes from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Headline Tuesday from the Univ. of Michigan publication The Michigan Daily: “UMix won’t screen film in wake of complaints”

The article begins with this: “The Center for Campus Involvement announced Tuesday afternoon they would cancel a planned showing of ‘American Sniper’ at UMix following a student petition over the depiction of certain communities in the film.” The good news is that after a huge backlash the film will now be shown as scheduled. And for this day only even Ohio State & Michigan State fans should love this tweet from new Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh: “Michigan Football will watch ‘American Sniper’!

Proud of Chris Kyle & Proud to be an American & if that offends anybody then so be it!” 21K “retweets” & 25K “favorites.” That sound you hear is a sleeping giant finally waking up!

That red meat for the lib media turned out to be rancid!

Dave Weigel at Bloomberg Politics writes that AP reporter Phillip Elliott hounded newly announced presidential candidate Rand Paul on his pro-life positions in an interview “that Democrats thought they can use against him.”

The DNC immediately released the interview to the press and later NH1 reporter Paul Steinhauser (parroting the Dem talking points) asked Paul: “Should there be any exemptions or not?”

Senator Paul’s response: “Why don’t we ask the DNC: Is it okay to kill a seven-pound baby in the uterus? You go back and you ask Debbie Wasserman Schultz if she’s OK with killing a seven-pound baby that is not born yet. Ask her when life begins, and you ask Debbie when it’s okay to protect life. When you get an answer from Debbie, get back to me.”

Booyah … first Cruz and now this, there may be life in the GOP after all. Whether you’re a Paul supporter or not, to all the spaghetti-spined RINOs … this is how it’s done!

Female college students get sexually assaulted, but the 1 in 5 figure libs keep pushing is pure BS!

The Bureau of Justice Statistics (Holder’s DOJ) released a recent report with this stat: It’s not 1 in 5 but 1 in 164 (6.1 out of 1000). Last November Rolling Stone’s Sabrina Erdely wrote a gruesome tale of a student being gang raped at the Univ. of Virginia fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi. But days later the WA Post found big holes in her story. On March 23rd local police stated there was no evidence to support the alleged incident.

Now Rolling Stone has finally retracted the article but no one, including Sabrina Erdely, is being fired. Erdely has “apologized” to her readers, the university and future rape victims. Everyone but the fraternity. Yes, there are too many lawyers filing too many lawsuits but SUE them Phi Kappa Psi.

SUE Erdely & Rolling Stone for every last penny! SUE them on behalf of the Duke lacrosse team, Officer Darren Wilson, the O’Connor family and all the other lives the lib media has tried to destroy. SUE them because America has had enough!

Politico: “Barack Obama’s next job: Sell the Iran deal”

Those who bought Zero’s promises when he “sold” his stimulus & Obamacare will love his nuke deal. Those with IQs above room temperature will not.

FRANCE was upset that the “proposed accord” is not “solid enough.” And the normally Zerobama-loving WA Post blasted it, writing: “None of Iran’s nuclear facilities — including the Fordow center buried under a mountain — will be closed. Not one of the country’s 19,000 centrifuges will be dismantled.”

The paper reminded its readers that lifting the sanctions “will provide Iran a huge economic boost that will allow it to wage more aggressively the wars it is already fighting or sponsoring across the region.” As well as no snap inspections, no brakes on missile development and the Middle Eastern nuclear arms race that will inevitably follow. But Zero insists it’s either his deal or war. Another straw man argument from Zerobama.

Reagan walked away at Reykjavik and then broke the Soviet Union without firing a shot. But that’s the difference between a strong world leader and a community organizer.
